The cascade chapter met on Nov. 11 to discuss the importance of writing our area politicians. The message needs to include the reasons we are pushing for legislation. We need a continual increase in cost of living, as our operating cost rise. Stress the importance of being able to stay on an equal footing with other like trucking business's. That without more money we harm the rural communities in which we live. We lose a work force we need to keep the timber industry healthy. Last, but not least, we need a work environment that is safe to all. This includes the general public we share the hiways with.
