Text Box: FUEL PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS ONLY
Executive Board Treasurer, Jim Nielsen has been hard at work securing a reasonable and practical fuel program for the membership. He has met with Associated Petroleum (CFN) to talk about a discounted fuel arrangement. A proposal by Associated has been presented to Jim and he has signed on the dotted line to secure affordable diesel that will be discounted by volume purchase made by the membership as a whole.
Each member would be required to fill out an application for credit with Associated. Credit worthiness is judged on an individual basis.
Fuel cards will be honored at any CFN fuel stop and there will be NO added charge levied if the fueling station is not owned/operated by Associated Petroleum. This is in direct contrast to what many of you are accustomed to with your present distributor.
For more information, fuel cost breakdowns and applications, please contact Jim Nielsen at 253-569-4526 C C C C C

Fatal Facts (continued)

generate that revenue and to haul loads that are loaded, sometimes in such a manner, that they are not fit to haul on the woods road let alone on the public thoroughfares. All of these things lead to an unsafe work place for us and ultimately to the general safety of our citizens. If we are to lessen the death rate in our industry it is imperative that we start doing things differently.

HB 3227 which was introduced at this legislative session would have done wonders in changing  these problems. By allowing the owner operators to openly negotiate their bottom line would be to insure that we would all be safer. Let’s not wait for another loss of life when we have the means to prevent it!  ~ ~ ~

Our future is in your hands.  Each and every member MUST make a commitment to pull in the same direction, focus on the same goals and make certain that our future is secured through a team effort.  This is not the time split hairs, become lost in petty issues or undermine the efforts of the entire membership.

If you will take the time to look back one year you will recognize the steady pace we have set, the achievements we have realized and the marked impression that we have made on the industry.

Every member needs to tip their hat to the Executive Board for the direction, education and motivation they have unselfishly provided us.
