Text Box: IT’S TIME TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP ! !

At the January 14th General Membership meeting it was decided by majority vote to increase the Co-Op membership dues in order to move forward with our legislative efforts. The increase would provide funds necessary to meet legal and accounting expenditures in addition to providing a base salary for Jim Nielsen that would enable him to step out of his truck and into an office atmosphere where he could better serve the membership and our goals.
It is through your continued support and that of our vendors and suppliers that we are able to provide the membership with tools necessary for a brighter future and economic stability. Our membership has steadily grow, much to the dismay of some individuals who would have liked to see us fail! We have over 500 members throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana with interest voiced in Alaska and Northern California.
The fee schedule set at the General Membership meeting is as follows:
	One Truck $ 200
Two or More Trucks $ 350
 	   Drivers $ 50
                                                      Associate Members * $ 100
These are annual dues . Dues are tax deductible under federal non-profit classification 501C3.

They are working everyday to make your life better. Jim Nielsen has gone to extrordinary lengths to research and arrange a fuel program (applications are now available), an affordable commercial vehicle insurance program (a proposal will be available in the next couple of weeks)  and he’s looking into medical insurance, tire discounts and a myriad of perks for Co-Op members.

Each of us, in turn, should be speaking with our colleagues and encouraging them to join our ranks and come along on the successful ride we are taking.  Don’t sell yourselves or the Co-Op short ! This is just the beginning!    ஐ ஐ ஐ
